Are you a "squatter?" If you want to stay in the same room next year, you can renew your housing on Topnet today. You have the option to add a roommate to this room tomorrow. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and simply click the Stay in Same Room button. 

2. A confirmation message will appear and an email will be sent to your WKU email.

Did you renew your housing yesterday? Today you can add a roommate to that room. Use that person's proxy code to add them on Topnet. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

1. Go to My Housing on Topnet. You will need the proxy code from the person you want to room with.

2. Enter the student’s proxy code in the box and click on the Add Roommate button. 

3. A confirmation message will appear and an email will be sent to you and your roommate’s WKU email.

Southwest Hall will be the honors upperclassman residence hall for the 2017-2018 academic year.

Additionally, McLean and Bates Runner hall will become general population, upperclassmen students and Bates will be our extended living hall.

The room selection process for Southwest Hall residents to renew to Bates Runner or McLean hall will be February 16 through February 17.  These days are set aside only for you – so that you can get first choice of rooms in those halls for next year. 

We will be offering tours and information sessions at Bates Runner and McLean Halls.

You are encouraged to renew to Bates Runner or McLean hall; but if you desire to try for another building campus, please follow your date on the schedule, as assigned for your student classification.

If you want to stay in the same hall, but move to a different room, you can renew your housing on Topnet today. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and click Choose Different Room.  This will open a page that will have a drop down box and will only have your current hall as an option.

2. There is also a space for you to select 1 space in a room (just for you) or 2 spaces in a room (for you and a roommate). 

3. After you have entered this information, click on Search.  This will open a page with a drop down box of the available spaces. 

4. Click on the room you want and click Select Room.  You can then click Return to My Housing to see your fall 2016 room assignment.

5. If you want to add a roommate, enter the proxy code of the person you want to room with and click the Add Roommate button.
