Renew and Choose Your On-Campus Housing for 2018-2019

Stay in your current room or find a new one, the choice is up to you! You can renew your housing on Topnet, February 20-March 31.

Depending on your preference, there are specific days and times set aside to enter "My Housing" in Topnet to select your room. Follow the schedule below to find out the time and date you need to choose your room. Click on the links in the calendar to receive more instructions.

If you are a rising senior who wants to move to a different residence hall, renew your housing on topnet today. The option to add yourself to the private room waitlist will also be available today for rising seniors only. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Rising Senior: 90+ credit hours* by the end of Spring 2018. 

*Honors College Residents: priority for the Honors College residents is calculated using honors credits, not earned hours. Honors credits for rising seniors: 24+

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and click Choose Different Room.  You will select the residence hall from the drop down box as well as the number of spaces needed. 

2. Once you have selected the hall and number of spaces needed, click Search.  This will open a page with a drop down box of the available spaces.  Click on the room you want and click Select Room.  You can then click Return to My Housing and see your fall 2018 room assignment.

3. If you want to add a roommate, enter the proxy code of the person you want to room with and click the Add Roommate button. 

4. After renewing your housing, if you would like to be added to the private room waitlist, you can select "Add me to the private room waitlist" and follow the prompts.

If you are a rising junior who wants to move to a different residence hall next year, renew your housing on topnet today. The option to add yourself to the private room waitlist will also be available today for rising seniors and juniors only. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Rising Junior: 60-89 credit hours* by the end of Spring 2018. 

*Honors College Residents: priority for the Honors College residents is calculated using honors credits, not earned hours. Honors credits for rising juniors: 15-23

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and click Choose Different Room.  You will select the residence hall from the drop down box as well as the number of spaces needed. 

2. Once you have selected the hall and number of spaces needed, click Search.  This will open a page with a drop down box of the available spaces.  Click on the room you want and click Select Room.  You can then click Return to My Housing and see your fall 2018 room assignment.

If you are a rising sophomore who wants to move to a different residence hall next year, renew your housing on topnet today. The option to add yourself to the private room waitlist will also be available today for rising seniors, juniors, and sophomores only. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Rising Sophomore: 30-59 credit hours* by the end of Spring 2018. 

*Honors College Residents: priority for the Honors College residents is calculated using honors credits, not earned hours. Honors credits for rising sophomores: 6-14

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and click Choose Different Room.  You will select the residence hall from the drop down box as well as the number of spaces needed. 

2. Once you have selected the hall and number of spaces needed, click Search.  This will open a page with a drop down box of the available spaces.  Click on the room you want and click Select Room.  You can then click Return to My Housing and see your fall 2018 room assignment.

If you are a rising freshmen who wants to move to a different residence hall next year, renew your housing on topnet today. The option to add yourself to the private room waitlist will also be available today for all students and depending on the length of the waitlist, could be made unavailable as the waitlist grows too long. Open 7:00 am - Midnight

Rising Freshmen: (current student) 0-29 credit hours* by the end of Spring 2018. 

*Honors College Residents: priority for the Honors College residents is calculated using honors credits, not earned hours. Honors credits for rising freshmen: 0-5

Instructions:

1. Go to My Housing and click Choose Different Room.  You will select the residence hall from the drop down box as well as the number of spaces needed.

The "My Housing" online renewal process for on-campus residents on Topnet will remain open until March 31 at 4:00 pm. Once you have made your initial room assignment, you can go back in to "My Housing" to make changes until it closes. You will receive a confirmation notice on Topnet, as well as an email sent to your WKU email account notifying you of any action you took. 

After March 31, all requests for room changes can be submitted through Topnet.
