Description:
A space archaeologist whose recent TED Talk earned her the 2016 TED Prize, uses satellite images to discover ancient sites that had previously disappeared. Her TED bio recalls that Parcak is in many ways “like a modern-day Indiana Jones,†as she moves forward in finding and identifying unique surfaces from an aerial perspective.
