HT Bio

Hi! My name is Lydia, and I'm a Sophomore from Louisville, KY! I am majoring in Dietetics and Nutrition and minoring in Psychology with hopes of becoming a Registered Dietitian in the future. My big dream (as Dr. Cobane would ask) is to establish an inpatient facility for those struggling with disordered eating in Kentucky. For now, I am thoroughly enjoying WKU and the Mahurin Honors College, prioritizing my own personal Ascent Towards Excellence.

My favorite spots on campus include South Lawn, the HCIC, and the Commons! My best piece of advice for incoming freshmen is to step outside of your comfort zone and get involved! Pursue your passions and celebrate change instead of dreading it. Some of my favorite honors memories have come from getting involved in the Honors Social Planning Board, and Out in Honors.

Bottom line, the Mahurin Honors College is much more than an academic program. Feel free to contact me with any questions.

HSPB BIo

Hi there! My name is Lydia, and I am a sophomore here at the Hill! I decided to join the HSPB because I (obnoxiously) love the community circulating MHC. In my short time of being on campus, I've not only met some of the coolest people ever, but I've had some of the greatest, and most unique experiences. I am excited to be serving on the HSPB Executive Board as Recruitment and Retention Chair. If you have any questions about applying to HSPB or even what HSPB is, feel free to contact me!
