Biography
Hello! My name is Kayden Mulrooney and I’m a sophomore and a first-year HonorsTopper from Louisville, KY. I’m a double major in photojournalism and public relations with a minor in gender and women’s studies. I’m so excited to get to serve this organization that has become so special to me over this past year, and to make connections with incoming students also excited about the MHC. I am also a multimedia specialist for the MHC Branding Team and a photographer for the Talisman magazine.
Outside of campus, you can find me at the nearest thrift store or looking for tickets to the next concert in my city (Or someone else’s city. Who knows?). My biggest accomplishment is seeing Taylor Swift and Phoebe Bridgers in the same night :) One of my biggest passions in life is photography. You’ll rarely see me without my camera on my shoulder. It is such a powerful tool to stop a moment in time and keep it with you forever, and I want to soak up all the knowledge I can so I can be the best at my craft.
My advice to you would be to take advantage of all the MHC has to offer you. I am constantly amazed by the lengths the MHC staff will go to help you in your ascent toward excellence. They take interest as you as a person and want to see you succeed! Get involved as much as you can. That’s how you make friends! You’re all going on this journey together, so make the most of it!
