The MHC HonorsToppers

Hello! I'm Ellen from Goodlettsville, TN (about 20 minutes North of Nashville). I am a fourth generation Hilltopper and super excited to return to HonorsTopper this year. In addition to HonorsToppers, I will be an H4 Counselor this Summer! I also work on-campus as a tutor in The Learning Center, so if you are ever struggling in a class, come see me! In the Fall, I will also be working for Dr. Cobane as a teaching assistant in his Honors International Politics course (PS 250), and I would love to see some of you in that class!

One resource I would highly encourage you to check out is the Office of Scholar Development (OSD)! With them I was able to travel to the United States Military Academy at West Point for 4 days to attend the 73^rd Student Conference on US Affairs (SCUSA 73). This was an amazing opportunity and something I would not have had the chance to do without the MHC. I would love to talk to you more about the opportunities the MHC offers!

I am a junior in the Accounting major, and I will be interning with FORVIS in the Summer of 2024! I also plan to take the CPA exam and get my Master of Accountancy and Data Analysis in the future. The Mahurin Honors College has been a huge resource in getting me closer to my dreams, and they are excited to start helping you too!
