Parent Seminars at Super Saturdays

Seminars are free and will be held from 10 – 11:30 am CT on February 7 and 14 in the Gary Ransdell Hall Auditorium.
On the third Saturday, February 21, teachers invite parents and families to step into the classroom and experience what their students have been learning. Please ask your teacher for more details!

Opportunities and Hurdles for Advanced Students

During our Super Saturdays program, The Center offers special discussion sessions for parents during their child’s classes. These Parent Seminars are led by staff members of The Center as well as other experts in the field of gifted education. Topics vary from session to session, but all focus on meeting the needs of children who are gifted and talented. Recent topics have included “Myths about Giftedness,” “Understanding and Navigating Dual Exceptionalities,” and "The Social-Emotional Needs of Gifted Learners."
