Programming and Professional Development Opportunities for Educators
If they are to remove the learning ceiling for children who are gifted and talented, educators need effective professional development that is ongoing within a school and district. Just as classroom teachers must differentiate learning opportunities for a wide range of learners in their classrooms, professional development provides options for educators. The one-size-fits-all approach to professional development works no better than the one-size-fits-all approach to teaching in the classroom.
The Center has been the largest provider of professional development in gifted education in Kentucky since 1985.
