SCATS Online

We’re so excited to be able to offer SCATS as an online experience this year. While camp will be in a virtual format, we’ve ensured the same unique learning environment that provides high-ability learners who have finished grades 6-8 the chance to explore new ideas, develop concepts, make friends, and share experiences.
SCATS provides a diverse curriculum in a wide range of enrichment experiences. See our Courses page to read a full list of available classes. Teachers are drawn from the WKU faculty, outstanding area teachers, and students in the WKU graduate program in gifted studies. They structure their courses around students’ interests and understand how to go beyond the limitations of the traditional classroom to allow students to learn at higher levels and to think and create in their own ways.
Tuition for the two-week online SCATS (June 8 – 19) is $600. A $300 deposit is required at the time of registration. Tuition assistance is available for students displaying financial need. Campers will take two classes. The morning class will be 10:30 – 12:00 (Central Daylight Time) and the afternoon class will be 1:00 – 2:30 (CDT).
