Volunteers make this day possible!  We are thankful for your support and hope you have a great day with the children of WKU!  Volunteers are needed to help Human Resources group leaders with keeping all of our children safe throughout the day so we can all have fun.

 We expect volunteers to assist Human Resources Leaders with:

• Assuring all children are in the right place at the right time
• Walking with children to and from each session safely
• Crossing streets safely
• Ensuring safety of all children at all times
• Being a line leader or follower when walking from each location
• Creating a fun experience!

 

Parents, we thank you for bringing your child to spend the day with us!  We love showing your children all the talent we have on our campus. 

If you are not volunteering to assist with the event, here's what we expect from you:

• Bring your child to us!  We'll host registration at DSU room 3024 from 8:00-8:30am.
• If you can, enjoy donuts and juice with your child before we head off to our activities.
• Children will report to Lunch at Fresh Foods at 11:30AM. You are welcome to join us! Please note that you will be responsible for your own entry to Fresh Foods. We encourage parents and grandparents to utilize their monthly free meal swipe.
• You may pick up your child at DSU room 3024 at 3:00pm to shadow you the rest of the afternoon given your department allows shadowing.
• Please do not take your child from the group without notifying a Human Resources leader.
• For the safety of your children and grandchildren, ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BE SIGNED IN AND OUT BY AN AUTHORIZED ADULT
• Participants will be physically active the majority of the day and are encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear for extensive walking. Prepare for the chance of inclement weather.
