Biography

Jennifer Wilson graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Nebraska Wesleyan University and a Master of Arts in Education from Western Kentucky University. She began her career in higher education in the Admissions Office at Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1990.  From 1994-2000, She worked for RiverValley Behavioral Health and Owensboro Mercy Health System in marketing and public relations capacities. In 2000, she moved to Bowling Green and owned and operated a music business for young children, involving more than 100 families in weekly classes and summer camp programs. In 2008, Wilson became the Marketing and Communications Coordinator for WKU Libraries & Museum. In her position, she promoted University Libraries & Museum, and served as an advocate for literacy issues through campaign strategies and community outreach.

Jennifer has worked for the Center for Gifted Studies for more than ten years in the Super Saturdays program, teaching various enrichment classes. She has also instructed courses at Kentucky Wesleyan College and Western Kentucky University. She is a member of the Kentucky Association for Gifted Education and is an active volunteer in the community and has participated in numerous organizations. Jennifer enjoys time with her husband Ron and two children Madeleine and Luke. In addition to family, she likes singing in the choir, watching shows in the theater, and taking new adventures.
