The internship program provides students with the opportunity to complete semester-long internships for academic credit. These internships extend students' classroom experiences by giving them chances not only to apply their academic knowledge but also to learn new workplace skills.
To encourage active learning, the department supports students to study abroad at conferences and other academic events or excursions. Sometimes these are class activities, such as field trips or play attendance, but we also encourage individuals to submit papers written for their English classes to appropriate conferences.
Study away encourages students to take courses in other states as well as over seas.
