Minor in Film Studies

The minor in film provides students with cultural and historical knowledge of cinema. Whether you're interested in a specific genre of film, the theories which revolve around the impact film has on culture, its history and evolution, or if you love everything about it, our film minor can help.
It requires a minimum of 21 semester hours of course study that will include 9 hours of required courses and 12 hours of elective courses. See the film minor worksheet for a list of classes.
