This challenge will test your cardiovascular endurance. Run as many miles as you can to compete with other patrons of the Fitness Center. See who can run the most miles to win a prize in the month of October! The real question is, can we reach 1000 miles together?
Male and Female winners will receive a $15 gift card and there will be three raffle prize winners, each winning $10 gift cards.
You can come in everyday to participate for this event!
Directions: Notify fitness center staff before your workout. Select the speed and incline you prefer. After completion of your workout, ask fitness center staff to record your name and mileage completed on the Muscle of the Month Board. Only full miles count! (Example: If you finish 2.5 miles, it will only be recorded as 2 miles.)
Enjoy cardiovascular activities? If so, this event is perfect for you! This event is to see who can finish a 1.5 mile run, and a 3 mile bike ride in the fastest time. The event will be held in the fitness center on the stationary bikes and treadmills.
The fastest male and female times will win a $10 gift certificate or a tumbler WKU water bottle.
Sign up in the Health and Fitness Lab from October 3-19.
Walk-ins are welcome.
Incline on the treadmill must be at 1.0 and resistance on the bike must be at 6.
Participants can only use treadmills and bikes marked off in Fitness Center.
A five minute warm up must be done before participating, bike/run/walk/elliptical.
Two time slots available for participation: 12:30-2p.m. & 3-5:30 p.m.
