History Ambassadors is a group of student leaders who share a passion for history and for WKU. We serve the department as its official student ambassador group. Our mission is to enhance the WKU History experience by building community within the department. Our projects engage students with activities on and off campus and to promote relationship building between professors and students. By connecting students to history-related opportunities, we prepare our fellow classmates for jobs after graduation.
I am a History and International Affairs major interested in intellectual and transnational history. I am Chair of the Western Kentucky University Young Democratic Socialists of America, member of the Sunrise movement, and co-founder of WKU’s progressive student alliance.
I am a junior History major and Political Science minor. I work in the History Department and I’m currently the Historian of the History club. I plan to go to graduate school for Public History and develop a career as a museum curator.
I am a junior History Major on the Pre-Law track with double minors in Legal Studies and Asian Cultural Studies. My research focus is in civil/human rights along with race riots in America. I am also a first-generation college student and brother of Phi Sigma Pi.
I am a junior History and Social Studies double major with a focus in Secondary Education. I have an interest in American History, 20th Century Social Movements, and Women’s History. I am also involved in the History Club and the WKU Christian Student Fellowship.
