(Note: documents should be uploaded after applying for admission.  If you haven't already, apply now!)


Some academic programs require additional requirements for admission.  A list of these requirements is emailed to prospective students at the time of application, and can also be found in the WKU Graduate Catalog.  The following types of documents can be submitted using this portal:

  • Background Check
  • Creative Writing Sample
  • Departmental Application
  • Financial Statement
  • Letter of Application
  • Letter of Recommendation
  • Resume/Vita
  • Scholarly Writing Sample
  • Statement of Purpose/Goals
  • Teaching Certificate
  • Other

Please note this this is a list of all possible items, and no applicant would submit all items as the admission requirements for each program vary.

Some documents must come directly to the Graduate School from another institution/agency.  The following list of requirements CANNOT be accepted via this portal:

  • Standardized test scores (GRE/GMAT/etc.)
  • Transcripts
  • Proof of language proficiency (if needed)


NOTE: Items uploaded to the portal will not show up on the Application Status page immediately as received.  It typically takes one business day for them to appear.
