STRETCH IT OUT CHALLENGE (Sept. 1st – Sept. 30th): This challenge will test the flexibility of your hamstrings and will allow you to compete with other patrons of the Fitness Center. Also, you will have a chance to win a prize! Male & Female winners will receive a $15 gift card and there will be 3 raffle prize winners, each winning $10 gift cards.

You can participate once a day, as many days throughout the month as you choose. We recommend that you stretch before testing in order to achieve the best results.

 How to Perform the Stretch:

  • Ask Fitness Center Attendant for assistance
  • Stretch must take place on Posterior Stretching Machine
  • Adjust the machine: Foot at 90 deg. & straight leg with knee locked
  • Right Leg: Stretch as far as possible, hold for 5 seconds
  • Left Leg: Stretch as far as possible, hold for 5 seconds
  • Fitness Center Attendant will record the highest number reached for both legs
  • Test result (sum of right & left legs) will be recorded on the Muscle of the Month Board

ULTRA MARATHON CHALLENGE (Oct 1st - October 31st)

This challenge will test your cardiovascular endurance.  Run as many miles as you can to compete with other patrons of the Fitness Center. See who can run the most miles to win a prize in the month of October! The real question is, can we reach 1000 miles together?

Male and Female winners will receive a $15 gift card and there will be three raffle prize winners, each winning $10 gift cards. 

You can come in everyday to participate for this event!

Directions:
Notify fitness center staff before your workout.
Select the speed and incline you prefer.
After completion of your workout, ask fitness center staff to record your name and mileage completed on the Muscle of the Month Board.
Only full miles count! (Example: If you finish 2.5 miles, it will only be recorded as 2 miles.)
