About the Green Tour
Campus Green Tours
Sustainability student ambassadors offer campus green tours to students, faculty/staff, and community members. The green tour begins at the Office of Sustainability and moves throughout campus, from Gary Ransdell Hall to the University Heating Plant. Some topics discussed include energy, waste, green building, and sustainable landscaping. Tours can be tailored to your group's sustainability interests if specified on the green tour request. Allow 45 minutes to an hour per tour. Student ambassadors will begin conducting one open tour a month beginning Spring 2020 (dates TBA). These tours meet at the Office of Sustainability and are available without registration.
Classroom presentations are available to faculty/staff and students. Instructors, student organizations, and university departments/offices can request a sustainability ambassador to educate them on various initiatives across campus, or on a specific environmental concept.
