About the Physics Help Center

The WKU Department of Physics and Astronomy operates a Physics Help Center in KTH 1015 to help students with concepts and problem solving skills in the following introductory physics and astronomy courses:  

  • ASTR 104 - Astronomy of the Solar System [see Iaiah Beauchamp or Dr. Jason Boyles]
  • ASTR 106 - Astronomy of Stellar Systems [see Iaiah Beauchamp or Dr. Jason Boyles]
  • ASTR 108 - Descriptive Astronomy [see Iaiah Beauchamp or Dr. Jason Boyles]
  • PHYS 103 - Light, Color and Vision [see William Poteet]
  • PHYS 231 and 232 - Biophysics I and II [see any Help Center staff]
  • PHYS 255 and 265 - University Physics I and II [see any Help Center staff]

The help center will be open on days when classes are taught and closed for breaks such as Fall Break, Thanksgiving Break, and Spring Break.  Final's week will have an alternate schedule.
