PCAL Calendar
Wednesday, March 10th
- Location: Main Gallery, 2nd Floor FAC
- Time: 8:00am - 4:30pm
Two-part exhibition that traces the development and arc of Harrod's abstract painting practice from collegiate works while at WKU through to the current, in-progress series Cosmosis, created in an ongoing dialogue with John Golding's "Paths to the Absolute" to be continued on-site in the gallery. For current WKU students, this framework will also act as a larger, underlying driving concept and structure to be used toward their own writing and research, discussion, and mini-body of work.
- Location: The Capitol (416 E Main Ave)
- Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
A daughter reflects on her father’s life — weaving the story of his miraculous journey from the streets of India with the realities of life in America. Using recorded phone calls with her dad while he worked nights at a gas station along with home movies past and present, this deeply intimate film is a meditation on family, the immigrant experience, and the dreams we carry with us.
Free tickets are available at https://capitolbg.org/. After the screening, a Q&A with filmmakers will be offered.
- Location: Fine Arts Center Room 189 - Recital Hall
- Time: 7:30pm - 8:30pm
This is a free event.
