Accounting Student Earns KyCPA Scholarships

Sayrah Jones, an Accounting JUMP student from Bowling Green will receive two scholarship awards from the Kentucky Society of CPAs Educational Foundation.
Jones receives the BKD True Expertise Accounting Award and the KyCPA Educational Foundation Scholarship. She will be recognized for her achievements during the annual KyCPA Spring Awards Banquet to be held on April 29 at the Galt House in Louisville.
The KyCPA Educational Foundation awards more than $62,000 in scholarship benefits to college students across the Commonwealth.

Vivian Rivera is WKU's latest to earn the National Science Foundation (NSF) Graduate Research Fellowship. NSF Fellows receive a three-year annual stipend of $37,000 and a $16,000 cost-of-education allowance is awarded to their graduate institution.
