MHC Scholars in Honors 251 Citizen and Self will host a series of deliberative dialogues March 29th-April 7th. The public is welcome to attend these guided discussions of pressing social issues, deliberate the options, and help decide which is the best.

The MHC's Honors 106 trip was able to travel to St. Louis this year and were able to experience the city's many amazing art museums and exhibits!

Hosted by MHC scholars taking Honors 251 this semester, deliberative dialogues are presented with a social problem and three options for addressing the issue. These dialogues are open to WKU community members to attend pending their registration.

19 WKU students earned the Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship for study abroad in the October 2021 application cycle, more than all other Kentucky institutions combined. Of these 19, 13 are Mahurin Honors College Scholars.

The WKU Student Government Association (SGA) has allocated $1,500 to create funding for underrepresented minority scholars in The Mahurin Honors College (MHC), which will cover the MHC membership fee for twelve MHC scholars this fall.
