Seven WKU students were awarded Fund for Education Abroad scholarships for study abroad, totaling $28,075. With seven recipients—the highest number in institutional history—WKU had more recipients than any other college or university in this cycle.

Four WKU students were awarded US Department of State Critical Language Scholarships (CLS) that fully fund summer study in intensive language programs abroad. Recipients were selected from a diverse nationwide pool of over 4,600 applicants.
