NetID Accounts

All active faculty, staff and students are issued a NetID. The NetID and password are used to login to most major WKU computer systems and services including, but not limited to, myWKU, Blackboard, TopNet, Email, Computer Labs, and WKU Wireless Networks.

Faculty and Staff receive their NetID upon entry to the Banner Human Resources System after being hired. Students receive their NetID upon admission to WKU.

It is important to manage and protect your NetID and password. Do not share your NetID or password with anyone. Immediately contact the IT Service Desk if you suspect your NetID or password is compromised.
