Facilities Management Grounds Improvements

The Facilities Management Grounds Crew has completed several projects in 2020 to improve the ascetic appearance of campus. Check out a description of the projects to understand the energy dedicated to improving campus.

Resident Hall Move-In Recycling

We want all students to feel welcome at WKU. One way Campus Services contributes to this goal is helping students during resident hall move in. Each year, campus services staff station outside of each resident hall to help break down boxes and dispose of trash. This service helps insure trash and recycling is properly disposed of while also providing hands-on customer service to students. *Photos from 2018

 Game Day Recycling Challenge

Football Game Days = Tons of Recycling. Each game day, Grounds and Resource Conservation staff work together to capture recycling from fans tailgating. All recycling gathered from tailgating and the stadium is weighed to compete in a national recycling challenge.
