Come spend Valentine’s Day in the woods! This weekend trip will take you to some of the most beautiful wilderness trails Tennessee has to offer.

Monday, February 17th

Big Red Rep Off

February 17 from 5-7:00pm

February 18 from 3-5:00pm

February 19 from 5-7:00pm

Who can do the most reps? The Big Red Rep Off will challenge you to test the muscular endurance and compare your score with other patrons .Participants will perform a bench press exercise.

Regulations

  1. Walk-ins are welcome, but are subject to availability. Sign-up in the Health and Fitness Lab for a time slot!
  2. All participants must sign an informed consent/waiver.
  3. All participants must weigh in. Weigh-ins will be held directly before the lift.
  4. Participants are recommended to perform at least 5 minutes of a cardiovascular warm-up before beginning the Rep Off.
  5. Participants must be spotted/witnessed by at least one Health & Fitness Lab employee.
  6. Winners will be determined by:

                                          Male – most reps completed of body weight

                                          Female – most reps completed of 50% body weight.

  1. Male and female winners will receive a $15 Gift Card to Walmart. All participants’ names will be entered into a raffle for a $10 Gift Card to the WKU Store.
  2. Competitors will be allowed a maximum of 10 minutes to complete the lift.
  3. Results will be posted for public display, unless requested otherwise.
    1. Each participant will get one chance to complete as many reps as possible (no second or third chances).
    2. The lifter must lie on his back with head, shoulders, and butt in contact with the bench surface. This position shall be maintained throughout the attempt.
    3. Feet must remain flat on the floor at all times.

This trip will introduce the fundamentals of rock climbing in one of the most beautiful settings in Kentucky. There will be two trips offered this semester giving you ample opportunity to try something new.

This trip will introduce the fundamentals of rock climbing in one of the most beautiful settings in Kentucky. There will be two trips offered this semester giving you ample opportunity to try something new.

Speed your way on fun single-track trails just an hour from Bowling Green! This day trip, geared toward the beginner and intermediate rider, will focus on technique and riding form.
