A conversation abotu artistic roles and practices and the many career opportunities available to artists, art writers, and educators.
Mike Windy is a multimedia artist who creates sculpture, sound, performances, video, paintings, and is an art educator in the public schools. He also serves on the Board of Directors for Number Inc., an independent art journal covering art in the south, is a member of the Board of Advisors for The Educators' Cooperative, and serves on the REACH commitee for The Smithsonian Museum of American Art. During his visit, he will share with students the many different career opportunities available to artists, arts writers, and educators.
