Abstract: Dr. Ceni Babaoglu will talk about her academic journey: from Mathematics to Data Science. She will share her experiences through her recent projects and publications, as well as discuss the future trends in data science. Also, she will explain important applied mathematics concepts used in the fields of data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Ceni Babaoglu's research interests include statistical machine learning, data mining and deep learning. Some of her papers in data science involve projects with industrial partners such as Globe and Mail, Manulife, St. Mike’s Hospital, and Toronto Police Services. This 3.1 mile loop is a great beginner trail! The loop runs along the river and incorporates settler homes and beautiful Kentucky scenery. Spend your saturday afternoon with us, sit by the river for lunch, and listen to the birds in the sun.
