WKU to celebrate Green Restaurant Certification of Fresh Food Company

Officials from WKU and Aramark will celebrate the Green Restaurant Certification of Fresh Food Company on Thursday.
Fresh Food Company, located in the Downing Student Union, is the first restaurant on a college campus in Kentucky and the first in Bowling Green to earn the Green Restaurant Certification from the Green Restaurant Association.
After a short program at 11:30 a.m. with Brian Kuster, Vice President for Enrollment and Student Engagement; WKU President Timothy C. Caboni; and Director of Sustainability Leslie North, officials will cut a green ribbon and offer tours of restaurant operations.
Parking will be available in the Diddle Arena lot.
