On Saturday, September 21^st, the WKU Hilltoppers will host Toldeo in a home football game.  Kick-off is at 6:02PM.  See the Football Parking and Tailgating Map for tailgating locations, shuttle service, disability parking, reserved parking, and road closing information. 

Tailgating and Pre-Game Activities

·         Tailgating areas open at 1:00PM

·         Topper Walk begins at 3:40PM at Parking Structure 1. (College Heights Blvd. will close for approximately 15 minutes from College Street to Avenue of Champions.) 

Free Public Parking with Complementary Shuttle Service

·         Free event parking with transit service to Houchens L.T. Smith Stadium will be available from the following lots:

o   Creason Lot

o   Parking Structure 3

o   Adams Street Lot

o   Kentucky Street Lot

o   Alumni Square Garage

o   Russellville Rd West Lot

·         Transit service begins at 3:00PM from PS3 and Creason Lot; and 4:00PM from Russellville Road West Lot, Kentucky Street Lot and Alumni Square Garage.

·         The transit stop for Adams Street Lot, Kentucky Street Lot, and Alumni Square Garage is located at the corner of Kentucky Street and Alumni Ave.

·         The transit stop for Russellville Road West Lot is located at the bus stop in the lot.

·         The transit stop for PS3 and Creason Lot is located at the PS3 bus stop.

·         Service is suspended after kick-off and resumes at half-time until approximately one hour after the game is over.

·         All Topper Transit buses are equipped to provide ADA service.

RV Parking

·         Reserved RV parking will be available in the Service and Supply Lot beginning at 4:30PM on Friday, September 20^th.

o   Contact HAF (270-745-5321) to reserve a space.

·         Public RV parking will be allowed in the southwest corner of Creason Lot on a first come, first served basis as space allows starting at 4:30PM Friday.

·         Driving lanes must remain open at all times.

Reserved Parking

·         The following lots are reserved beginning Friday, September 20^th at 4:00PM (must be cleared by 4:30PM).  Any vehicles remaining will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

o   CHB Lot next to PS1

o   West Stadium Lot

o   H4 parking spaces on Avenue of Champions

o   A portion of the Poland Lot identified with signs

o   Service Supply Lot

o   Parking Structure 2 - 1^st Floor

o   Creason Lot OZ Zone (RV parking) and area closest to the Softball Field (Disability parking).

·         The following lots are reserved beginning Saturday, September 21^st at 7:00AM (must be cleared by 8:00AM).  Any vehicles remaining will be cited and towed at the owner’s expense.

o   Parking Structure 2 Levels 2-5

o   McCormack Lot

o   Parking Structure 1 Levels 1-3

§  H1 permits will be honored in Levels 4-7

o   Lots surrounding Diddle Arena

o   South Lawn Lot

o   Avenue of Champions Faculty/Staff parking 

Alternate parking for displaced permit holders is available in the following locations

·         Chestnut Street South Lot

·         Park Street Lot

·         Parking Structure 3 

Road Closings, Pick-ups & Drop-offs

·         Avenue of Champions will close at 2:00PM.  Only authorized event traffic and University service vehicles will be allowed through.

·         While this road is closed, please use Regents Ave or Minton Circle for pick-ups and drop-offs.  Do not block traffic.

·         Topper Transit will not serve stops along the Avenue of Champions while the road is closed to event traffic.

·         No Uber\Lyft pick-ups or drop-offs will be allowed on College Heights Blvd at Avenue of Champions.  Please direct your ride to Minton Circle or Regents Avenue.

Traffic Control

·         WKU and Bowling Green Police will begin directing event traffic away from campus late in the game as needed.
