WKU will celebrate Parent & Family Weekend September 25-26 with numerous events, highlighted by recognition of the 2026 Family of the Year during WKU Football’s game against Mercyhurst.

WKU students are encouraged to nominate their family for 2026 Family of the Year. Nominations are due September 11. Nomination information

The Parent & Family Weekend schedule includes:

Friday, September 25: Ghost Tour with WKU Student Alumni Ambassadors at 7 p.m.

Saturday, September 26: Hilltopper Quest, a self-guided campus challenge, with WKU Alumni at 10:30 a.m., Sip & Snap, a pre-tailgate sweet treat and family photo op, with WKU Alumni at 11:30 a.m., Parent & Family Tailgate at 2 p.m. and WKU Football vs. Mercyhurst at 6 p.m.

Tailgating meal tickets and t-shirts can be purchased through the WKU Parent & Family Portal.
