Message from the Department Chair
The Department of Mathematics at Western Kentucky University is home to a diverse faculty who excel in teaching, research, and service. We are positioned to provide, strengthen and support mathematics and statistics education at all levels within the University. Additionally, our Department is fortunate to have a very cordial and competent staff to support its faculty, student population, and the entire university community.
This year will be my 13th year at WKU as a faculty member and my 2nd year as chair of the Mathematics Department. I have been teaching in the Mathematics Department for 12 years after spending one year in the School of Teacher Education.
