Kentucky Museum – Information for Scouts

Scout Information

The Kentucky Museum offers year-round tours and workshops for scouts on most Saturdays from 10am - 3pm, following the University Calendar. Visit the Museum to explore the exhibits, schedule a workshop or take part in one of our public programs.

The Museum also offers scouts an opportunity to earn a Kentucky Museum Signature Patch as scouts learn about the history of the Museum and explore its collections.

Scout Leaders:

Step 1- Call 270-745-2592 to book a tour date and time.

Step 2- Prior to visit, download and print either a Boy Scout or Girl Scout packet (see above) for each participate wanting a KY Museum Signature Patch. Troop members bring packets to the Museum when they visit. Scouts are required to complete X number of activities based upon their scouting level.

Step 3- Completed packets are to be mailed to Christy Spurlock or Lynne Ferguson, Kentucky Museum, Western Kentucky University, 1906 College Heights Blvd. #11092, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42101-1092.

Step 4-Signature patches will be mailed to troop leader.
