Scout Information

 

The Museum offers Scouts an opportunity to earn a Kentucky Museum Signature Patch as they learn about the history of the Museum and explore its collections.

Scout Leaders:

Step 1- Complete a Group Reservation request. Most Scouting groups book on Saturdays between 10AM and 3PM. Maximum group size is 50. There is no cost, but all groups coming to the Museum must book in advance.

Step 2- Prior to visit, download and print either a Boy Scout or Girl Scout packet (see above) for each participate wanting a KY Museum Signature Patch. Troop members bring packets to the Museum when they visit. Scouts are required to complete X number of activities based upon their scouting level.

Step 3- Submit completed packets to front desk attendant for patches, or mail in completed packets after visit to: Dr. Christy Spurlock, Kentucky Museum, Western Kentucky University, 1906 College Heights Blvd, Bowling Green, KY 42101.
