WKU offices in Bowling Green will open at 10 a.m. Friday. Classes Friday remain canceled and campuses in Glasgow, Owensboro and Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox remain closed Friday. Saturday classes in Bowling Green will proceed as scheduled. Here is a link to the University’s attendance policy during adverse weather conditions. Use caution and watch for slick spots on roads and walks.

Sharon has been a member of the Dean’s administrative team since 1992. Her responsibilities include assisting the Dean by managing office and College-related non-grant budgets. Sharon’s additional accounting duties include Part-time College Payroll and Graduate Assistantship budgets and payroll. As Building Coordinator, she is responsible for Gary A. Ransdell Hall, headquarters for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences, and Jones Jaggers Hall, an auxiliary facility that houses grant programs, including Western Kentucky University’s Child Care Consortia.

The College is in the midst of planning a new educational facility at the University. In her capacity as Building Coordinator, Sharon has served as a member of the steering committee for the new building that has replaced Tate Page Hall. She also serves on a variety of other University committees.

Sharon said about her position in the College, “The challenge of my position makes every day different and exciting.” When asked what she enjoys most about working for the Dean she said, “I especially enjoy my daily interaction with our students and faculty.” Sharon considers it a pleasure and honor to be part of the Dean’s team at the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences.
