Kentucky Habitat for Humanity executive director to visit WKU

Members of the WKU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter spent their fall break working on a Habitat project in Madisonville. The group will be traveling to Oklahoma City Dec. 16-22 for a winter break project.
Mary Shearer, Executive Director for Kentucky Habitat for Humanity, will visit the WKU Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter meeting at 5:30 pm. Tuesday (Nov. 13) at Environmental Sciences and Technology Building, room 214A.
Students, faculty, staff and community members are welcome to attend and learn about how WKU Habitat for Humanity has positively affected the people of the Commonwealth and how WKU students can assist with continuing Habitat for Humanity’s mission.
Members of the WKU chapter participate in Habitat projects in the Bowling Green area and volunteer during Habitat Collegiate Challenge trips during spring, fall and winter breaks. The WKU chapter will be working on a Habitat house in Oklahoma City during a winter break trip Dec. 16-22.
