The Southern Kentucky Concert Band at WKU to present an “Old Fashioned Sousa Band Concert”

The Southern Kentucky Concert Band at WKU is presenting an “Old Fashioned Sousa Band Concert” on Thursday, June 11, at 7:45 p.m. in the Downing Student Union auditorium.
The concert will feature music that would have been heard at a Sousa Band Concert in the early years of the 20th century, including exciting classical overtures, popular songs of the era, outstanding featured soloists and a Sousa march or two. The concert is free and open to the public.
The Southern Kentucky Concert Band has been entertaining Bowling Green audiences with summer concerts for more than three decades. The band is comprised of outstanding musicians ranging in age from 18 to 80.
