K-12 students and educators invited to participate in Rock Your Red Education Day
- Monday, September 11th, 2023

WKU continues the We Wear Red. We Show Up. campaign with Rock Your Red Education Day, encouraging K-12 students and alumni in the education field to wear WKU apparel or red on Friday, September 15, 2023. Schools with spirit days on Fridays are welcome to Rock Your Red on Thursday.
Educators are asked to share photos of their classrooms wearing red on social media and mention @wku and @wkusports. WKU and the WKU College of Education and Behavioral Sciences will share posts throughout the day. Then, some classrooms will be selected for special giveaways.
At WKU on Sept. 15, a few thousand students from Bowling Green, Warren County and surrounding areas will visit campus to watch WKU Volleyball take on Ball State to begin the Alyssa Cavanaugh Classic at 11 a.m. The match is open to the public.
WKU Athletics kicked off the Rock Your Red Fridays initiative on Sept. 1, and fans are encouraged to wear red every Friday. Each week, share a photo mentioning @wkusports rocking your red for a chance to be featured on social media or on the video board at the next home game.
