This year we are excited to partner with organizations and departments across campus to feature the experiences and stories of our students. As we think about student success and our teaching, it is critical that we consider our students and their perspectives. Through this series we strive to amplify the voices of our students and provide an opportunity for dialogue as we seek to clarify student expectations and experiences so that we might all achieve success in the classroom.
In this discussion we will hear from students with learning differences who may or may not receive or request accommodations through SARC. We will visit with them about recognizing and reducing barriers to their learning, expectations about accommodations, and how they feel included and/or excluded in their courses.
If you have questions you would like to pose to our students, please submit those prior to the session by emailing micah.logan@wku.edu.
