The Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra (JLCO), comprising 15 of the finest jazz soloists and ensemble players today, has been the Jazz at Lincoln Center resident orchestra since 1988. Featured in all aspects of Jazz at Lincoln Center's programming, this remarkably versatile orchestra performs and leads educational events in New York, across the U.S. and around the globe; in concert halls; dance venues; jazz clubs; public parks; and with symphony orchestras; ballet troupes; local students; and an ever-expanding roster of guest artists.
This is a CES Premeier Event. Tickets are available August 25th at wku.showare.com or by calling 1-270-745-3121.
Rehearsals for a (not very good) comedy are about to begin when a group of strangers wander onstage; six characters from a different play, searching for a way to finish their story after the death of their playwright/creator has left them stranded in time. At first outraged at the interruption, the director is eventually persuaded to help these lost souls tell their story, and we are plunged into a metaphysical world of competing realities, where the boundaries between acting and truth, reality and fiction, become very blurred indeed. Ticketing: wku.showare.com.
