o The Campus Community Band is large symphonic band comprised of WKU students and community members. The program, “Peaks, Parades, and Pastimes” features outstanding works for concert band ranging from Rimsky-Korsakov’s famous work, Procession of the Nobles, includes a fun work called, Swings the Thing, and George and Ira Gershwin’s epic ballad, Someone to Watch Over Me, sung by Keelin Murrell, a senior vocal music education major. The concert will conclude with Billy Joel’s classic piano rag, Root Beer Rag, featuring the band’s saxophone section.
