Theatre & Dance Scholarship Opportunities for Current Students

At the departmental level, we administer 15 merit-based scholarships funds.  Typically, we award well over 50 individual scholarships a year, ranging in size from $150 to several thousand dollars. These awards are given to sophomore, junior, and senior majors in the Department of Theatre & Dance. The department application is due in February and the department faculty select the recipients in March. Rather than applying for any specific scholarships listed below, this is a general application for support. The department faculty then choose the appropriate fund for each student selected. See the application for further details.

Scholarships for Transfer Students

Transfer students should apply for a Transfer Base Award. These can be stacked on top of the GSA Target Award and Potter College Creative Arts Scholarship mentioned above, up to the cost of attendance. Check out the WKU Scholarships page for a comprehensive list of scholarships and policies.
