Students, faculty, and alumni of the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders in the WKU College of Health and Human Services were recently recognized at the 2023 annual convention of the KY Speech-Language Hearing Association in Lexington, KY.

One of WKU’s newest programs, the Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies, saw rapid growth in its opening year. Launching last spring, the program saw 22 students join by the fall semester, a strong start for the new academic major.

31 WKU students earned the Gilman Scholarship in the October 2022 application cycle, more than in any other cycle and more than all of Kentucky's other public institutions combined. The awards totaled $128,000.
