WKU Faculty Member is Among This Year's Weatherford Award Winners

WKU faculty member Anthony Harkins and WKU graduate Michael Croley are among the winners of this year’s Weatherford Awards for the best books about Appalachia. Appalachian Reckoning, edited by Dr. Harkins and Meredith McCarroll, received the Nonfiction Award, while Croley’s Any Other Place received the Fiction Award. The awards are granted by Berea College and the Appalachian Studies Association.
