We are sharing this insightful blog post by Joel Ryan, Executive Director of the Washington State Association of Head Start and ECEAP. It provides a fresh look at Head Start since the 2002 Head Start Impact Study. Included are changes that have taken place since that time, and highlights of a 2012 study that came to completely opposite conclusions to the Impact Study.

Aurora Speltz, a 2024 graduate of WKU’s Potter College of Arts and Letters, has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Program Research Award to teach English in Jordan starting in January 2027.
