Western Kentucky University has selected Stephanie Prichard as Director of WKU Regional Campuses.

As Director of WKU Regional Campuses, Prichard will provide leadership for the university’s regional locations, supporting academic opportunities and student success while strengthening relationships with the communities WKU serves.

“Stephanie has a wealth of regional campus experience working with academic programs, advising and community relations, and was instrumental in helping develop the Early College at WKU in Glasgow,” said Rob Hale, associate provost for Faculty & Academic Excellence. “She brings great intelligence, creativity and enthusiasm to our Regional Campuses and the communities they serve.”

Prichard earned her bachelor’s degree in May 2015 and began her career at WKU in Glasgow as campus outreach coordinator. Since then, she has served as senior academic advisor, assistant director of Regional Campuses and, most recently, interim director, a role she assumed in July 2026.

Throughout her tenure, Prichard has worked extensively with WKU’s regional campuses in Elizabethtown, Fort Knox, Glasgow, Owensboro and Somerset. Her experience also includes collaborating with Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) partners, students and community leaders.

“Regional Campuses are at the heart of WKU’s mission to improve the lives of students and elevate the communities we serve,” Prichard said. “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead such an outstanding team and excited for all that lies ahead.”

Prichard will officially begin her role on November 1.
