The Mahurin Honors College at Western Kentucky University has announced its student leadership team for H4 Orientation 2026, the college’s signature extended orientation experience designed to welcome incoming honors students to campus before the start of the academic year.
H4 Orientation 2026 will take place from the afternoon of Saturday, August 15 through noon on Tuesday, August 18, 2026. This year’s program is strategically scheduled the weekend before WKU’s longstanding M.A.S.T.E.R. Plan tradition, creating a more seamless transition into campus life and allowing students to build meaningful connections before the start of the fall semester.
Registration for H4 Orientation is now open.
H4 serves as the Mahurin Honors College’s immersive orientation experience for incoming honors students, blending community-building, academic transition support, leadership development, and campus traditions. Through small-group engagement led by trained student counselors and Direction Leaders, students are introduced to WKU resources, traditions, and the honors experience while forming early friendships and support networks.
