Increased Bus and Pedestrian Traffic

There will be increased bus and pedestrian traffic on Avenue of Champions near Downing Student Union tomorrow, Tuesday, March 31st.
School buses will be dropping off passengers beginning at 8:00AM for the Warren County Public School’s Robot Royale. The students will be picked up on Avenue of Champions near Smith Stadium beginning at 1:00PM.
Expect traffic delays while students are loading and unloading. Please use caution near buses and pedestrians.

Seven Gatton Academy of Mathematics and Science students received awards for their research at LRSEF. Two juniors were among the five GE Best of Fair winners to earn automatic entry to the prestigious ISEF Competition.

Dr. YuChun (Jean) Chen is the recipient of the Society of Health and Physical Educators (SHAPE) Southern District Scholar Award and the Kentucky SHAPE College/University Educator Preparation Award.

Effective July 1, 2026, Dr. Ritchie Taylor will serve as Associate Dean of Western Kentucky University’s College of Health and Human Services (CHHS). Dr. Taylor currently serves as the interim CHHS Associate Dean.

Dr. Tania Basta, the Donald R. and Irene S. Dizney Dean of the WKU College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), announced that CHHS will be restructuring effective July 1, 2026.
