The National Weather Service has issued alerts for several rounds of potentially severe weather this afternoon and through overnight. Based on these alerts and information from our university meteorologist, all WKU campuses will close at noon CDT today (Wednesday, May 8).
Some essential personnel will be required to maintain infrastructure and operations. The essential staff will be notified by their departments based on specific needs.
