Here's a WKU winter weather update for Friday (Jan. 7):
Due to winter weather, all Western Kentucky University campuses will again be closed on Friday, January 7. Only essential personnel, including adverse weather crews, emergency services personnel, and necessary food service and HRL staff, should report to campus. Any employees who are unsure should consult with their supervisors to determine reporting status.

June 23, 2026 (Bowling Green, KY) -- The Center for Gifted Studies at WKU hosted 100 campers for the 44th annual Summer Camp for Academically Talented Middle School Students (SCATS). Camp ran from June 7 to 19.
