The Kentucky Folklife Program Archives is a rich repository of materials documenting the folklife of Kentucky's people. Recently transferred from the Kentucky Historical Society in Frankfort to WKU's Kentucky Building, the Archives is now part of the Building's Manuscripts & Folklife Archives unit. To celebrate this move and to showcase the collection's depth and diversity, the Kentucky Museum and Manuscripts & Folklife Archives have developed an exhibition featuring fifty representative photographs selected from the thousands of images housed in the collection. We are excited about adding this rich resource to our research collections.
The Kentucky Museum exhibition galleries will be open on Saturday, August 30 and Sunday, September 30 but will close for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 2. Regular hours resume on Tuesday, September 3.
